GCCRD Takes Legal Action in SpaceX Public Information Lawsuit
Grimes County Residents Are Fighting for Answers.
On October 27, 2026, Grimes County Citizens for Responsible Development electronically submitted a petition in the ongoing SpaceX public information lawsuit, seeking access to records concerning the SpaceX/TeraFab development agreements and the decisions leading to their approval.
For months, residents have sought answers about how a 22,429-acre reinvestment zone and significant economic development incentives were approved, while continuing to request meaningful public engagement.
This is not about stopping progress. It is about protecting the public's right to know how its government conducts the public's business.
The future of the United States of America should not happen TO its people.
It should be built WITH its people.
